I knew Rick Baty in college. I, on a whim searched his name and hour site popped up. This was the first I knew he had died. Rick illustrated (along with me) a USC humor magazine, Common Sense. He was a gifted artist. I always thought he would be a highly, and I mean very highly, paid portrait artist. We met again only one time after school. I am guessing this was about 1990. I still have a painting he did. It was on an piece of scrap plywood, and he was going to paint over it.., start again. I asked him to sign it and give it to me. It is a wonderful piece of a lovely girl. Dave
