COLUMBIA — Tickets, along with an official schedule of events, for the seventh annual Columbia Food and Wine Festival went live Feb. 14.

The five-day event, spanning from April 24-28, will feature a dozen events like a food truck outing at WECO Bottle & Biergarten and a family-style picnic featuring some of the city's most prominent chefs.

The week's events culminate with the final Grand Tasting event, an outdoor tasting and sipping event at the Preston Mill Estate and Hampton Preston Mansion.

And 2024 marks the first year Columbia Food and Wine is operating as a nonprofit, a move that prompted a rebranding effort from the festival's governing board.

The festival kicks off with a Wednesday night dinner at Private Property, a fine-dining Southern food restaurant in Lexington. The restaurant's executive chef, Trip Chalk, will be joined by Chris Williams of Roy's Grille in Irmo and Mike Ellis, who oversees the culinary operations for downtown Columbia restaurants like Smoked and The Grand.
